Well...Here's a toast to my friday in and why I'm upset with my mother. She's so busy with her life that she wants to trap me in a cage. Even birds need to be free, mother. Let me breathe. A specific incident which stands proof to this, is the concert I was not allowed (banned) to go to tonight. We had it all planned out. I darren was going to buy everyone's tickets and we'd just go as a group on the day. I was going to stay over coz that would've been alot simpler. But NOOO mum had to go and ruin EVERYTHING. It's funny when things don't work out the way you want them to. I've been looking forward to that concert for ages. It's not MY fault we live so far away from where the concert is. She's so paranoid sometimes, that woman. Just coz she knows every single thing that COULD go wrong, doesn't necessarily mean it WILL. Emlyn tells me that I should've just said I was staying over at someone's house then went to the concert. "Then you can go to the afterparty, too. That's what I do, anyway." After reminding him that I was not 18, I took a deep breath and tried to distract myself from the said thought. "aw come on. How many times have we gone to drinking parties that your mom never found out about?" I really would've. But I now I never could. I'm too nice. Mom's trained me too well. Dammit. But I suppose somewhere deep DEEP inside her, she just has my best interests at heart. Well...I best be off! I gots homework to do! Block exams are only a week away!
